Training
All our staff undertake an extensive training programme before they can start work and are offered opportunities for career development throughout their time at Consistent Quality Support.
Our training is offered face to face to get more out of the courses with a practical aspect on site at our houses, giving management the chance to assess new staff before work begins in order to ensure the highest standards are reached. The mandatory training courses will be reviewed and updated on an annual basis to guarantee staff are kept up to date with the newest procedures and are still as competent as they were on their very first day with us.
We also give staff the opportunity to work on their NVQs; this will allow staff to follow our succession plan and give them the chance to apply for internal promotion opportunities.
We ensure all our training courses comply with the most recent legislation, ensuring staff and the children in our care are safeguarded.
We encourage staff members to gain certification in a wide range of courses using their own initiative, provided for by our training department. Dan Owen, our very own Training & Development Manager provides training to all our staff and hopefully in the very near future training can be advertised and provided to outside companies.
